Step into 2012, I started my working life. :( No more party like last time, fun like last time. OWH~ I'm so wanted to continue my student life, working life is so much pressure.

Anyhow, still celebrating 2012 with my group of besties at Genting. :D We drive to Genting and stay there one night. Have so much fun over there and enjoyed so much with them. You guys are awesome, and you're always my darlings. ;)

Last Saturday was my lecturer - Mr. Puvin's BIG DAY, his wedding. He held at BM, due to I have no idea how to get there, so I sit Liji's car together with Joanne. Sadly, our batch left three of us, Bongkot and Sanjeetha only.

Cameron Highland

Went to Cameron Highland with family. Was so enjoy and have a lot of fun over there. Sadly my elder sister and her husband couldn't join us, else will be more fun. xD

Was rain when we were there, but luckily not rain for the whole day, we still managed to visit some of the place. :D

We went there two days one night. Depart from Friday morning, went to Ipoh have a breakfast only continue the journey.

It tooks about one and half hour from Ipoh to Cameron Highland. We reached there around 2pm.
We check in at Titiwangsa Hotel. When we wanted to go out grab some lunch, it start raining. :/

At night, we went to the only one night market over there. Have nothing to do at night at Cameron Highland, only night market. The life over there was so peaceful, I don't think I can live there long. =X

The next day we went to the nearest market. Not much things to see over there, so went back hotel, bath and packed everything. Check out then went to the bigger market. Mummy wanted to buy some vege and we headed to Rose Farm before we back to Penang.

Was really enjoyed throughout the whole trip. Sometimes, some place going with family was really great. :D But some you just couldn't because different environment and different activities. haha~ :P

Phuket Trip

Went to Phuket with Juvenn last week as our Diploma graduate celebration for 5 days. XD
The weather at Phuket was nice, a big different with Bangkok, LUCKILY~
Phuket is so big, it is the largest island in Thailand. Too many place to go and play, it seems like 5 days not enough for us. :( I love there so much and I miss there so much~

Let's start about our trip. We had joined two different tour which is to Phi Phi Island, which is the most famous island in Phuket, and another adventures tour.

The first two days we stayed at Anchan Resort & Spa, which located at Bang Tao Beach. The resort as shown in the picture below, was quiet and small. Even that area also not much tourist compare to others. But it was really relax when we stayed there.

Reached there already 3pm plus, so we didn't go anywhere but only Bang Tao Beach.

It is not really happening at Bang Tao Beach, luckily the second day we went to Phi Phi Island. Thank god~
The tour cost us 2200 baht which include speed boat to the 3 - 4 islands, snorkeling jacket and mask and also a lunch.

This is my first time sat a speed boat, it was so fun standing there looking at the sky and the sea. I told you, I love sky and sea. XD

The first place was Maya Bay (if not mistaken). It was so beautiful, and the water so crystal clear! I can see through the water. IT IS FUCKING NICE~

The third and forth day we stayed at Sirahlana Hotel, Patong Beach. Patong Beach is the most popular and famous beach in Phuket. It was so lively over there, it's a tourist hot spot. You can find many things over there, seafood restaurants, shopping mall, pubs, clubs, street markets and so on. If you bring enough of cash, you will shop till you bankrupt. The things over there were fucking nice but too bad, they not cheap. :/
How I wish I'm a millionaire, then I can buy all I want. xD

Patong Beach.

Third day we didn't join any tour, we just walked around at the Patong area. It is so big and many things to see, we spent our day over there. At night, the road named Bang La Road will closed, no cars are allowed to enter the road. Both side of the street are full of bars, tourists walked along the road and enjoy the shows. Many girls dance poll dance at each club. There are one club named body nude club which has all the lady boys dancing and they performance at the end of the pub. The whole street was so happening, we went there two nights and now I'm so miss the street. =3

Besides the pub street, they do have clubs which located opposite the Bang La Road. That street is full of clubs. The whole area over there was so happening, so lively. It was so fun spending time over there. Imagine Halloween, I think it will more happening, must be very fun. =3

We also went to watch the boxing show. Live boxing, I never watch boxing, not even in the TV, but I get a chance to watch live. Starting was between two Thai children, not really fun. But they have many events, teenage VS teenage, foreigner VS local and Thai man VS Thai man. It was getting excited and irritate when one of them blooding. All of the audience made noise whenever one of the boxer punch the other one. The environment become more intense when one of the boxer fell to the ground. We shouted and clapped. I just know that boxing could be so fun. :D

The forth day we went for the adventures trip, Rafting. It is my first time, it was so fun and excited. Meet two hongkie during this trip. They were fun and friendly, we were group members for the rafting and make a lot of fun. ARGH~ I miss that moment. T_T

The last day, before we check - out, we went Patong Beach for the last sunbathe. owh~ I start missing Phuket, the beach, the sky, the sea, the water, the lady boy, the night life, the pubs, the boxing..... everything over there~ I hope I can go back again next year. :D It's really a nice place to go for vacation, no matter with the love one, or friends or family, as long as you love sky, love sea and love sun. :D

It is a good experience to travel with only one girl, it is so adventures and excited two girls travel to other country and it is a memorable trip for me. I must go back again in the future~!

The Sire Museum Restaurant

Went to The Sire Museum had my dinner on last Sunday with Juvenn and Alan. The environment there not bad, and we can visit it after the meal because they have many antique things showed at the other side of the restaurant.

We ordered two appetizer for sharing, soup and main course.

The bread.

It is served with the sauce which taste like bolognese and the bread is not a normal one but made with herb. It taste good~

Prawn salad.

The salad taste like what I ate at Ferringhi Garden. It has the sesame oil inside, I guess. The prawns were fresh enough.

Crab cake.

It is special but I don't really like it. To me, it don't taste good. So so only. =/

Seafood soup. * I forget the name*

I take it as a traditional malay soup. Why traditional? Because it served in the Museum! XD It taste a little bit spicy and full of the taste of spice. I was delicious but one thing bad was the oyster not fresh enough. When I bite it, it taste pink. yewwwwwwww~

Mushroom soup.

I like the presentation. It just look like mocha which i used to make during my training at Farquhar's Bar, E&O. xD

Main course - Tiger Prawn.

I think I had ordered Malay course that day. All my courses were so spicy. This tiger prawn served with all the small chili. :S It was very very spicy to me, who can't eat spicy, but if you do, then you can try it. Make sure it is fresh because that day, the tiger prawn wasn't fresh at all. None of them was fresh.

Was very full that day but not really satisfied with the food. The food was so so only, but the environment not bad. Still enjoyed that night, because I have friends to chill with. (:

Summer Garden

Went to Summer Garden on Saturday night for the dinner. It is located somewhere near to the Tarc, before Tarc if you come from Gurney Drive. It is at the corner. It is launch by my friend, Edmund's friend and the environment over there not bad.

We ordered only main course each person and Edmund ordered some extra dish to share with each other. Before main course, we ate a plate of sushi (forget the name) and a plate of sashimi. Both taste not bad, I personally love the sashimi plate because I just love sashimi. XD but the wasabi not very spicy like sakae one. I put more than usual but still don't feel spicy. The sashimi plate look nice on the presentation but I was too attracted with it and too hungry i forget to take picture. XD

King Prawn Olio Spaghetti.

I ordered a King Prawn Olio Spaghetti but the prawn doesn't look like King size. LOL~ It was not bad at the beginning but when I almost finished it, it start taste salty. Very salty.

Michelle's - Carbonara.

I taste once, it was very creamy. If you are someone who like creamy food, then their carbonara is recommended.

I personally recommend their special caramel latte. It has presentation some more. Look :

It is a cold drink but they didn't put ice. The cubic things is not chocolate but is coffee. They freeze the coffee become cubic size and bring to the guest and do presentation. They pour hot fresh milk inside to slowly melt the coffee and a small jug of caramel for you to adjust the sweetness according to your taste. I personally don't like it too sweet so i just pour bit and it really taste good. If you are a coffee lover, I think you will love their caramel latte. *THUMBS UP*.

Pan Fried Foie Grass.

Compare to Cassis, their foie grass don't taste good. Maybe because they cut it thick, the side was crispy but the middle part was not soft and juicy enough. Last time I went to Cassis, their foie grass was super delicious. The side part was so crispy, once you bite it, it was so soft and juicy, the juice just squirt out to your mouth~ @@

Cheese baked King Prawn.

This is really King Prawn, so big. I just taste some due to very full after so many course. It has many small prawn inside. The small prawn were so fresh but I feel that it still lack of the smell of the cheese. The cheese didn't penetrate into the prawn, it taste like, two different things, prawn just prawn without the taste of cheese while the cheese just a melted cheese.

Was so damn full that night and I very SATISFIED of it although some of the food don't taste good, but some do. And I make a lot fun over there, enjoy with friends. It has been long time didn't hang out with such a big group friends.

Balik Pulau

Went to Balik Pulau last Thursday. Never been there before although I live in Penang for 20years. haha~ I went there once but only for the Laksa then back, not really visit there. This time different, of course Laksa is a must at Balik Pulau, but i get a chance really visit Balik Pulau.

Tried two different Laksa, one is Chinese another one is Malay. Malay Laksa is only RM 1 for one small bowl, you can refill the soup, it's free~ but i still like Chinese Laksa, not used to Malay one. Last time i tried the laksa is sweet one, but this time i didn't try it. Will go back for it again. hehe

Went to the beach, I just know that Balik Pulau do have a beach! I thought it is an island, but they do have beach. * Forget my ignorance.* XD reached there around 4something, the sun is so hot, but who cares? I LOVE BEACH~ enjoying the environment and the sea water there, some more not much people like Batu Ferringhi, nobody disturb. haha

I like Balik Pulau. One of the reason is I can find BEACH and MOUNTAIN here. I can easily see beach, enjoy the sea and sky, and also I can easily view the whole Balik Pulau at the mountain there. Want to see sunset also not a problem~ So i went to mid to see sunset after the beach. :D

Zoo Taiping

Went to Zoo Taiping with my sister and mummy. It was a sudden decision and afternoon around 1something only we start our journey to Taiping. We reached there around 3pm if not mistaken. Not many people over there because it was Tuesday. The weather was freaking hot but when we leaving time, it raining.

The entrance fee is RM 12 for adult. Many animals were sleeping when we were there. The zookeeper told us that in the afternoon, most of the animals will sleep, they will only active at night. We were like, OWH~ should come for the night safari.

Not much animals in Zoo Taiping, or maybe all of them went to sleep dy? or maybe that's Malaysia's Zoo. oops~ The condition of the animals also not very good, some of them look so thin, some of them look so dirty, some like sick and not healthy at all. =/ what to do? i saw quite a lot of the workers are foreign worker. haih....

Hari Raya

Last two days was Hari Raya and most of the staffs were wore Baju Kurung or Baju Kebaya to celebrate this festival. This is my first time wear Baju Kurung for the whole day and work. (except for the presentation) It look nice seriously but Baju Kebaya will make a girl look more pretty compare to Baju Kurung. XD

It is my first time celebrate this festival so I decided to talk about Hari Raya. Before that, let me show you how's the day with Baju Kurung in our outlet. It's kinda hard to work with this traditional clothes. :X

Let's start about the Hari Raya:

The most significant celebration for Muslims, Eid al Fitr, it signifies the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. Known locally as Hari Raya Puasa or Hari Raya AidilFitri, the celebration is determined by sighting of the new moon on the day, before the next month on the Muslim calendar, Syawal.

The word "Hari Raya" means the day of celebration.

Ramadan

Ramadan is the name of the one-month fasting period when Muslims fast from dawn till sunset. During the period of fasting, apart from eating and drinking, Muslims are also forbidden from smoking and having secual relations. Only the sick are excused from fasting during this month. Muslims are expected to avoid lying, breaking promise or cheating during the month of Ramadan. It is to remind them of the plight of the poor and to cleanse themselves by exercising abstinence and self-control. Even the young are taught to fast.

The Celebration

Muslims starts the day by wearing new clothes and congregating in the mosques early in the morning to perform Hari Raya Puasa prayers followed by visiting the graves of the departed. The young will ask for forgiveness from their elders and have open house for relatives and friends to come to their house. Plenty of traditional Malay delicacies are served during this festive season. Houses are thoroughly cleaned and decorated, and lighting of oil lamps welcomes the angels which are believed to be visiting the earth during the seven days preceding the festival. The celebration lasts for a month but most of the celebration is concentrated in the first three days.

Visiting Muslim homes on Hari Raya Puasa, you can expect to taste a wide variety of delicious spicy dishes. Some favourite dishes that can be found in Muslims homes on this special occasion are ketupat (as shown in the picture), lontong, nasi padang and neef rendang, The Muslims also give packets of money to kids when they go visiting. The packets are usually green in color and children oftel look forward to getting these money tokens on Hari Raya Puasa.

There are two types of clothes I want to talk about for Hari Raya which is Baju Kurung & Baju Kebaya

Baju Kurung

The Baju Kurung is a traditional Malay costume which loosely translated as "Enclosed Dress". This type of costume is the national dress of Brunei and Malaysia, and can also be found in Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand.

History of Baju Kurung

For instance, Chinese chronicles described the attire of the Malays in the 13th century for both male and female as covering only the bottom part of the body, with no cloth to cover the upper body. Later, tunics, which are simple cover-alls that are either short-sleeve or sleeveless, were said to be the main attire of the Malays. And the pants or trousers worn were mostly in the "gunting Aceh" (Aceh cut) fashion, ending just below the knee. The women folks, on the other hand, normally wear sarongs in the "berkemban" style,

that is, by wrapping a piece of sarong around the body covering the chest. However, with the growth of trade, and the importance of the Silk Route in China, traders crossed the Malay Archipelago from the Arabian archipelago and India to China by ships to sell their products. And these ships stopped at the ports and villages along the coasts of the Malay Archipelago, that later bloomed into trading posts in south-east Asia. Goods from China, India, Middle East (Arab) and European countries were traded here. And the foreign traders not only brought with them goods for sale and barter, but also their unique dressing and fashion styles. The Malays were therefore influenced and exposed to various fashions and costumes from various countries early in their civilized state, and these foreigners have influenced greatly the evolution of the traditional Malay costumes and dress. And when the Malacca Empire was at its height in the 15th century, with Islam as the main religion, the Malay traditional costume, the Baju Melayu, was born, When they became more civilized with the adoption of Islam as their religion, the Malays slowly covered their bodies according to the tenets and teachings of Islam.The early baju kurung was longer and looser, unsuited to the figure of Malay women. It was popularised in the late 19th century by Sultan

Baju Kebaya

A Kebaya is a traditional blouse-dress combination worn by women in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Burma, Singapore, southern Thailand. It is sometimes made from sheer material and usually worn with a sarong or batik kain panjang, or other traditional woven garment such as ikat, songket with a colorful motif. The kebaya is the national costume of Indonesia, although it is more accurately endemic to Javanese, Sundanese and Balinese people.

History of Baju Kebaya

The earliest form of Kebaya originates in the court of the Javanese Majapahit Kingdom as a means to blend the existing female Kemban, torso wrap of the aristocratic women to be more modest and acceptable to the newly adopted Islam religion. Aceh, Riau and Johor Kingdoms and Northern Sumatra adopted the Javanese style kebaya as a means of social expression of status with the more alus or refined Javanese overlords.
The name of Kebaya as a particular clothing type was noted by the Portuguese when they landed in Indonesia. Kebaya is associated with a type of blouse worn by Indonesian women in 15th or 16th century. Prior to 1600, kebaya on Java island were considered as a sacred clothing to be worn only by royal family, aristocrats (bangsawan) and minor nobility, in an era when peasant men and many women walked publicly bare-chested. Slowly it naturally spread to neighbouring areas through trade, diplomacy and social interactions to Malacca, Bali, Sumatra, Borneo, Sulawesi and the Sultanate of Sulu and Mindanao Javanese kebaya as known today.

Michelangelo's Restaurant & Bar

Went to Gurney last Saturday. There is a new restaurant opened so me and Eugene decided to have a try. It is beside Chilli's which previously was Breeks.

Michelangelo's Restaurant & Bar is an Italian cuisine restaurant, last week only launching. That time we planned to try it but the people said only open for invitation guests so we make it this week.

The Menu.

Quite many people when we were there, perhaps it still new? I order a Caesar Salad and a Cheesy Spaghetti (forget the italian name) and he ordered a Mushroom Soup and Spaghetti Carbonara.

We requested a ice water but the waitress said: " Sorry, we don't have ice water we only serve mineral water. " I was like, mineral water put some ice then it is ice water, not? Is it so hard for you to put some ice inside. == and then we saw a waitress holding a jug of ICE WATER serving the table beside us. =/ And then I requested for warm water, then the waitress said : " Sorry, we don't have warm water, we only have Sparkling water." Again?! Such a big restaurant & bar you tell me that YOU DO NOT HAVE WARM WATER? wth!

The service was totally bad, I'm a guest here and you should fulfill my need and it is not too much, just a glass of ice water and a glass of warm water. Apart from the service, the food is not really nice also.

Caesar Salad

The Caesar Salad is not nice at all. The vegetable is fresh but the chicken slice taste weird and too soft? I don't know how to describe but the time you bite the chicken you will friable? The presentation also not nice. They didn't wipe the side plate clean before they served and the egg yolk was broke. ==

The cheesy spaghetti.

It is combination of 4types of cheese but I just can remember Parmesan and Mozzarella. I can't finish it because IT IS SO SALTY. I don't know, perhaps combination of 4 cheese will become salty? But it is really OVER SALTY. Even Eugene tasted it and said so.

Although I just taste one spoon but I already don't feel like continue it. It taste weird. Eugene, the one who finish it all also complaint that the mushroom soup not nice.

Spaghetti Carbonara.

This dish not bad, not too creamy. The only dish we feel nice so far. LOL

Because I didn't finish my spaghetti and I don't feel full, so I ordered their dessert. Eugene said that better go other place to eat the dessert but I insisted to order there. Luckily their dessert didn't disappointed me. (:

Italian Chocolate Cake with Vanila Ice Cream
(I forget the name).

This dessert finally make me feel that it's worth for me to dine in there. LOL~ the time when I ordered this, the waitress told me that it takes time to bake and i said okay. I was thinking it better worth for me to wait. And it really worth it. It taste nice, the cake was very warm and eat with the vanila ice cream, the temperature just right. Even the sweetness also just right. The cake was not too sweet and combine with the sweetness of the ice cream. I think only this dessert will be the reason I back again.

Overall, I personally don't really like this restaurant. The design of the restaurant is really nice, but the service is speechless. And the food so so only. =/

Last Tuesday went to Vintage Bulgaria have my dinner. It is located at Tanjung Bunga.

Vintage Bulgaria is a restaurant & bar which operated by a Bulgarian family. The decoration of the restaurant is full of Bulgarian feel. You can even find the Bulgarian food in the menu.

Bulgarians are a South Slavic ethnic group native to Bulgaria and neighboring regions. Emigration has resulted in immigrant communities in a number of other countries. Click here for more info about Bulgarian

There is two level while I sit at the underground part. The environment there not bad, played some sentimental song and not really noisy, perhaps not much guests on that night. XD

I ordered the caesar salad, the taste a bit salty but the chicken slice taste good. Compare to Ferringhi Garden, I still like Ferringhi Garden Caesar Salad, the presentation and the taste also nicer. :X

Main Course - Chicken Spindle

A bit spicy because it grilled with black pepper, the taste quite nice. And the part that they gave me is not chicken breast, not too hard and i finished all. :D

Dessert - Chocolate Creme Brule

The dessert taste good, sweetness average, not too sweet which fit my taste as I don't like things too sweet. (:

Overall quite nice, but the staff not attentive enough. The wine glass already finished but no one refill it and we have to refill it ourselves. Our cutlery already put aside which shows that we are already finished the dish but no one come to us and clean it until we have to ask the staff to clear it. But the environment and the dish taste good so I still satisfied with my dinner~ :D

Went to Ferringhi Garden for my dinner last night after movie. It's my first time and I really love the environment over there. It suitable for either couple or friends' gathering.

The time we reached there already 10.30pm, one of the waiter brought us to outside but one lady *I think is supervisor or something* like scolding the waiter of bringing us in. I thought it wanted to close but not, just that section closed, we may sit inside.

The environment inside the restaurant also not bad but outside more beautiful. What to do? We are late maybe next time. XD

Not only the environment, the presentation of the food and the taste also very good. We ordered two glass of Sauvignon Blanc, a Caesar Salad, Grilled Lemongrass Chicken and Oriental Chicken Chop. The presentation of Caesar Salad is more nicer compare to 1885. :X

Caesar Salad

The white "ball" actually is an egg, it look so nice and I wonder how they make it. =/ The taste of the Caesar Salad very good, the white sauce *I don't know what is the sauce* taste like wasabi, it combine of salty and spicy.

Grilled Lemongrass Chicken.

The salad taste good. It different with other, I think they put sesame oil because it has a very strong smell of that and sesame oil always taste good. The chicken has the taste of Traditional Chinese herb. But one thing I don't like is they gave me chicken breast which taste very hard, I personally don't like it. Overall the taste not bad.

Oriental Chicken Chop.

What make it different compare to others is the sauce. The sauce of it taste very different compare with others but I can't say it clear how different as this meal is not mine, I just taste once. XD

I personally very like the environment and the food over there. Although most of the waiters waitress are not local but their service very good, the staff very friendly and helpful. When we are about to leave, they provided us raincoat due to raining outside. They help us to wear it too~ I like their service and their friendliness.. A BIG THUMB FOR THEM!

Last Saturday I and Juvenn worked for Qyzzy Sdn Bhd. They have a press conferences for their yourfoodreview.com launching at Straits Quay in front the Weighbrau Restaurant from 11am until 2pm

yourfoodreview.com is a website for people to search for the Penang food. You can find the ratings, the review by the local people and the information about that restaurant. It very suitable for either local or tourists. You can search for the restaurant according to the categories like type of cuisine, dining time, type of dining or features of the restaurant. It's quite convenience for the people. And it can also download to your iphone or ipad so that you can check for it at anywhere anytime whenever you have no ideas where and what to eat.

The press conferences is not that small, I saw some of the reporters are coming like the star and a local channel tv *I don't know the name*, even YB Danny Law also coming to the press conferences. And the press conferences only for invited guests only.

My job scope is very easy which just need to invite the guest to the backdrop and used instax camera to help them took photo and took out a board for YB to sign on it. That's all. LOL!

Since we are holding the instax camera, of course we won't waste the chance to take a photo of ourselves. Me and Juvenn went to back stage and start cam-whore. XD

The color of the instax camera very nice and the quality also not bad, some more very convenience. BUT, one thing is it can't edit especially we have pimples on our face. LMAO! And, it has no second chance for you to take again. So, even though I like to play with it, but I still love Lumix GF 2 MORE! :D

My Internship

Have been long time didn't update my blog dy, was busy with my training at Eastern & Oriental Hotel for 3 and half months and yesterday was my last day at E & O.

I don't always go to there before that, I have no ideas what E&O looks like actually because the last time I went there was few years ago. After working there, I love the building! The suites are so beautiful. Every time I went into the suite, I start imagine if I'm the tourist over there, how good it will be. XD I love sea, I love sky, that's why I love E & O. hehe

I went to Front Office, Farquhar's bar and 1885 fine dining restaurant for my training. Enjoy working with all of them, the management people, the staff, the chef, the steward, the housekeeper, the security and etc, everyone are so kind to me.

Thanks to everyone for teaching me so much during my training period. Seriously, i enjoy working with all of you, you guys gave me a very good experience and unforgettable memories. I will always remember these and I seriously miss all of you!! :(

Me and Jiaying Went to Delicious at Straits Quay last Saturday to have my lunch. We reached there already a lot of people waiting but we saw many empty table, the waiter told us that it's fully booked, have to write the name in waiting list, so we just sit there and waited for half an hour.

After we get a table and ordered, we wait another 20minutes to get our DESSERT which just need to take out from the chiller and I don't know why the dessert come first. After dessert, we waited for another 10minutes again still the soup haven't serve yet while the guests after us already having their main course happily. We couldn't stand for it as we both also very hungry, we asked the waitress who pass by us, she told us that the waiter FORGET to key in our order. We were like WTH?!

The waitress apologize and immediately served us our soup. When we still having our soup, my main course come but jiaying's didn't come until I already finished half of my course. We then asked the waitress yet she answered us that there is nothing on the list, which means the guy who took order FORGET to key in her main course. She has to wait for another 17minutes again as told by the waitress. We both were so angry and before we leave, we wrote a very bad comment on the survey card. :X what to do, their SERVICE really BAD what. :P

I was asked to participate a sponsor post which I just need to attend an event called Celcom S.O.X. All Stars Drum & Dance at Jawi on 16th & 17th of April and blog about it.

Did you all heard about this event before?? For me, I had totally no ideas of what is that event about, until i went there to see. It's to challenge students below 18 years old in their drumline and cheer dance. It is seek to be the largest inter-school cheer dance competition. This time is the second time of the event as last year already held at National Stadium at Kuala Lumpur.

It's a two days event which Saturday is a workshop day while Sunday is the competition day. I can't manage to go on both day as I was busy working, even Sunday also I can't stay back late as I'm rushing to other station. How sad. :(

The event start at 6.30am until 4pm but before the event finished, i had already go back.=/ The competition start at 10am. Luckily I manage to reach there before 10am. :D

MC of the day was a DJ from fly.fm but i don't know his name. :X First group to performance was a team named MACHINE which their team members are all the boys, some of them look so small but they manage to play such a big drum!! I'm feel so proud of him. LOL After that, followed by a girls' cheer dance and the first team was Vivacious Junior!!

The sequence of the competition goes like this: one team for drum, then followed by cheer dance. Drum was took part by all the boys and cheer dance was took part by all the girls. Me, myself like to see Titans Junior, one of the cheer dance team. I feel that they are so charming and energetic, totally represent the young team show their young power!!

There are two groups which is very special enough for me that I want to mention here. They are SGGS drumline and PIRATES cheer dance team. You know why?? Because SGGS is the only girls who play drum and PIRATES is the only boys cheer leading. I admire them! :D

I went back before the result release. BUT, i still get to know the result through their Facebook page. Here the result :

I feel that it's a very nice event but sadly i can't attend both day and I just can be there for a while. :( I really hope that next year will held again and this time will held at Penang. XD If you have chance, you must go and have a look. It's really amazing! (:

Eastern & Oriental Hotel

I'm not going to talk about E & O hotel in this post, what i want to say is, i already start my TRAINING LIFE on 1st April 2011 which is just 5days ago.

First department is Front Office and my first week task was Fruit Basket. i walked the whole hotel to send Fruit Basket to all the occupied room. Had learned the types of room, but still confusing with the room number. =/ perhaps i should put more effort uh, Product Knowledge Test is coming soon!! Passing marks is 60%. :(

Today is Orientation day and learned a lot in this orientation. Makes some friends which are from Taylor's College. They said Diploma need to prepare 40K if you want to study over there. WTH??!!! Expensive right? But it's famous college, what to do? :/

Nothing much to tell, because I just started my training there. Still have 3months to go. Have to pay more attention and put more effort, do my best to show people that I'm not a vase. ;)

Hmm... it has been some time i didn't blog about my life dy. Let's talk about it now. :D

Finish my semester - 5 's exam and having 2weeks break before i go for my internship - free labor life!! LOL
It's a new environment for me, new life perhaps. Not going to imagine how will it be as it confirm out of my expectation.

Before have my internship, i had worked for Fitness Concept Road Show at Gurney Plaza for 5 days. My job is to demonstrate the machine to the public and sometimes distribute brochure ONLY! :D It's a tiring job because we have to do exercise BUT i love this job! despite the tired exercise, it's actually quite easy and fun. next month they having road show at KL for the entire month, sadly i have internship. =/ or else i can earn 3k and build my body become fit. XD

Made some new friends and they are all very nice to be with. I like them, I like this job too. (: Will miss them, if got chance, I would like to work for it again. ;)

Lion Dance

Last week, my college's principal had invite a lion dance team to our college. around 10am in the morning they had arrived and started the lion dance at the main building and then came to School of Hospitality & Tourism building. After the lion dance had finished, one of our malay lecturer asked us chinese why want to have lion dance during Chinese New Year. so i went home and google about it. Now, let's tell you what's the lion dance and the history. I will tell you about why Chinese New Year want to have lion dance.

Lion dance is a form of traditional dance in Chinese culture, in which performers mimic a lion's movements in a lion costume. Lion dance is operated by two people, the performers' faces are covered and the basic lion dance fundamental movements can be found in most Chinese martial arts.

The story of lion dance goes like this: once upon a time, a monk had a dream in which there were many sorrows and evils plaguing the land. the monk prayed and asked the gods how he could prevent these evils from occuring. the gods told him that a lion would protect them and fight back the evils. the Chinese people had never see a lion before, but had heard stories that the lion was the king of all the other animals, so the monk combined all the lucky or magical animals he could think of and so made a lion.

If you look closely at any lion, you can see a red sash tied on its horn. it is told that the lion got too arrogant and told the gods that he was more powerful than all of them combined. this of coutse cause the gods to get very angry, so as punishments they chopped off his horn. and told him to fight off a thousand evils without his power. the lion of course couldn't and people were dying because the lion couldn't protect them from the evils. the Goddess of Mercy felt bad for him so she tied his horn back on with a red sash.

During Chinese New Year, lion dancer troupes from the Chinese martial art schoold or Chinese guild and association will visit the houses and shops of the Chinese community to perform the traditional custom of 'cai ching', literally means 'plucking the greens', a quest by the lion to pluck the auspicious green normally 'vegetables' like lettuce which in Chinese call 'cai' that sound like 'cai' (fortune) and auspicious fruit like oranges tied to a "Red Envelope' containing money; either hang highly or just put on a table in front of the premises. the 'lion' will dance and approach the 'green' and 'red envelope' like a curious cat, to 'eat the green' and 'spit' it out leave it in a nice arrangement, like a auspicious character but keep the 'red envelope'. the lion dance is believe to bring good luck and fortune to the business and the troupe is rewarded with the 'red envelope'

What to do in Chinese New Year? Visit cousins, take 'and pau', gambling and the most important for me - E.A.T.!!! xD

This year, i really eat a lot. my uncle treat, cousins' house party, friend's house party and so on. I had gain weight for this few days but who cares, we Cantonese always say: 食得是福, which means is a good things if you can eat. :D

During Chinese New Year, we can meet a lot of our cousins which we less contact but when new year time, we will spend time together, having fun, talking about our life and etc. we meet them once a year, or once in 2 - 3years. the last time we saw them, they are only a small kid but times fly, now had become a pretty / handsome teenage, no longer the naughty one.

i love HOTELS - Palms Casino Resort Hotel

Okay, this post i will talk about Palms Casino Resort. you know why? because it is super duper grand and nice!!! I will talk about some suites because it is too much to talk about. I will just show you some nice one, which i love.XD okay, let's tell you about PALMS.

The Palms Casino Resort, also known simply as the Palms, is a casino hotel and residential tower located in Paradise, Nevada. The main tower has 702 rooms and suites and contains a 95,000 sq ft (8,800 m²) casino, a recording studio and a 2,200 seat showroom. The resort has become a popular destination for many, especially with younger people and Hollywood actors.

The Palms was Britney Spears's base for her first wedding debacle and is still the retreat of choice for tabloid staples. The Palms has perhaps some of the most comfortable beds in Vegas, thanks to fluffy pillows and duvets that make one reluctant to rise, plus big TVs and huge bathrooms.The pool areas got party-spot makeovers, turning what were kind of bland "stand and pose" watering holes into the kind of trendy must-visit beach areas this kind of crowd loves.

Erotic Suite

Extremely sexy and very suggestive, this 1,408 square foot suite features a Show Shower, full bar, iPod Hi-Fi, and an eight foot round rotating bed with mirrored ceiling. Bring appropriate attire and you can match with the leathers and metals that finish the space throughout. It can accommodate 2 - 4 people.

The reason i like it because it is full of red things inside and i like RED. ;)

Barbie Suite

Barbie has moved some of her favorite things from her Malibu pad (home of Barbie’s 50th Birthday Bash) to The Palms Las Vegas so girls of all ages can experience the fantasy and fun of Barbie’s lifestyle. The reason i like this because this is so amazing. I used to dream of having a barbie lifestyle and house when i was young and now, there is a Barbie Suite at PALMS. WOW

Kingpin Suite

With two full sized bowling lanes, this room is fit for a King-pin. This retro style 4,240 square foot suite features two bedrooms, three bathrooms, LCD and Plasma TVs throughout. It also includes regulation bowling equipment, a pool table, full bar, iPod Hi-Fi and theater size projection television with lounge. Everything you need for that 300 game!

The reason i like this because it's like a game room, full of everything i want. If i want to play bowling also i can no need step out from the room.LOL!

Celebrity Suite

Live life like a movie star. Or maybe you are one and you just need a place to escape. Or maybe you're Fall Out Boy, it's MTV's 2007 Video Music Awards, and you want to invite Lil Wayne, Rihanna and the Gym Class Heroes over to jam. This nearly 2,000-square-foot retreat features enough amenities to satisfy even the most demanding elite. Luxury living room, full bar, walk-in closet, vanities and plenty of plasma TVs to watch your latest blockbuster.

I don't really like it, just for sharing purpose. Perhaps some STARS stay here before?;D

Real World Suite

Las Vegas was the city, but the Palms was the real home to MTV's Real World cast and crew in 2002. Six rooms were demolished on the 28th floor to create this 3,000 square-foot suite, which includes three bedrooms and a communal bathroom with two shower stalls, two bathroom stalls and three neon lit washbasins.

The reason i like this because the room design very nice, so many beds for me AND, look at the shower stalls, so nice lar. TAK BOLEH TAHAN LAR!!

Hugh Hefner Sky Villa

Sitting atop the Fantasy Tower is a Vegas suite so extraordinary, it's where Kanye West held court at MTV's 2007 Video Music Awards—and invited Common, Soulja Boy and T-Pain over to live the good life. The reason i like this not only because of it is BIG but also the pool. look at the playboy jacuzzi pool!!! you can see the scene. It is listed as top ten the most expensive room in the world. Besides, the shower room also DAMN NICE!! some more the things is features with RED color.

Bungalow

A beachfront bungalow surrounded by bikini-clad beauties. There are definitely worse fantasies a guy could have. Chill in style with multiple plasma screen TVs, full wet bars, private balconies and lanais. Or link all three bungalows and throw the ultimate pool party for you and 120 of your closest friends.

The reason i like this is because of the wall and furniture.I like the color, it give me a very relax and peace feeling. Besides, it is big enough for me to have a very huge pool party with a very beautiful pool over there. :D

PALMS is also home to several of Las Vegas nightlife venues including Moon Nightclub, Ghostbar, Rain Nightclub and the only Playboy Club.

Moon Nightclub

i love HOTEL - Hotel Rooms

When i doing research for my assignment, i found this website and saw TOP TEN the most expensive hotel's rooms in the world. OMG!! they are really so damn fucking nice and grand!! you would love to stay in there. I wish i'm a billionaire that i can go around the world and stay all the grand and nice hotel, try their services, and everything in the rooms. AND take pictures of the scene!! argh~~~ i wish i can work in such nice place too. i think i will very happy and excited to go to work. xD hmmm.....i hope my honey moon can go one of the place and try on the rooms. XD it's my BIG BIG WISH.lol

10. The Penthouse Suite, The Martinez Hotel, Cannes

Nightly Rate: $18,000

This is the biggest, most expensive, and the only terraced penthouse suite on the Cote d’Azur. Both of the two suites has a jacuzzi, plasma screen televisions, DVD library, kitchen, open bar, private butler on call 24/7 (ditto for a limousine), and an option to join both suites into one big apartment. The luxury has no limit here – the design is kept in the Art Deco style, with streamlined furniture, silk curtains and teak parquet floors.
The wraparound terrace is 2,000 square feet with the views of the Lerins Islands as well as the entire Bay of Cannes and can comfortably hold 100 people. One Saudi sheik liked the suite so much he wanted to rent it for five years. The hotel said no. What else can you say? Tres magnifique!
